Mission Objective:

Use Military Tactics and Training to out think, out perform, out maneuver, and overwhelm our opponents.

Who Is S.P.E.C.T.R.E.?

S.P.E.C.T.R.E. was founded in February 2013, by United States Marine Corps Warrant Officer known to his teammates as Spike.

Spike founded the team after he took an interest in Airsoft, both as a recreational activity, and as a competitive sport. The MILSIM / Airsoft environment seemed like the perfect place for military and ex military to not only unwind and have fun, but also to thrive in the competitive aspect of the sport.

After looking around at local forums, sites, Facebook pages and watching every video of local teams that was available on YouTube, It was apparent that although a certain level of skill was demonstrated, even the simplest military based tactics could unravel just about any players course of action.

Airsoft, just like warfare is more efficient with a group, as opposed to playing alone. So if Spike was to play airsoft the proper MILSIM way, he knew he needed a team. And not just any team would suffice. In order to do what Spike had envisioned, the team had to be comprised of skilled dedicated soldiers, willing to learn the military way and be as dedicated to victory as Spike himself was.

So he began recruiting. Not being hooked into the Airsoft Community, he began on a few local forums such as AirsoftSociety, Chesapeake Airsoft Association, Delaware Airsoft Forum then expanded to recruiting ads on sites such as Craigslist. With these efforts he began recruiting the Airsoft and Military / ex Military Elite.

But recruiting alone wasn’t going to get S.P.E.C.T.R.E. field ready, and Spike knew it. So he sat down and researched every aspect of Airsoft, comparing his training with Real Steel weapons to that of the Airsoft variety. After countless sleepless nights, he had enough information to begin. He began compiling basic military training, maneuvers, movements, and tactics both from his own experience as well as standard military training manuals. He then began comparing this data to what he had compiled on Airsoft and the result of which was the S.P.E.C.T.R.E. Handbook. A 36 page manual of military training material modified for airsoft.

With that accomplished Spike turned to the task of finding a place for the team to train. After much searching, one of our members, ex United States Army Soldier William, came through, when he acquired us usage rights to a multiple acre plot of land in Bridgeville, DE.

UPDATE 4-8-2013: We now have a new home on a beautiful 73 acre plot of land in Millsboro, DE. Over the coming weeks we will be hauling in supplies to build a CQB complex in addition to the natural beauty of this property.

UPDATE 5-1-2013: We are now proud to say that S.P.E.C.T.R.E. now has the single largest Private Filed in DE, and also the Single Largest, and maybe only Private CQB Complex, at 2300 sq ft.

UPDATE 9-19-2013: We are now 39 strong, Making us not only the single largest team in DE, currently, but were only a member of 2 short of S.C.A.R. - Sussex County Airsoft Regimine, which as they claim is the single largest "Airsoft Organisation" which means its made up many smaller teams, sharing a common field. I don't really want their title, but if they lose a guy or 2, or any of our prospects commit, well take it by accident. lol

Initial Training Began: 3-2-2013

Our members range from as far north as Nothern Delaware, to as far south as Southern Maryland, to as far west as Baltimore Area, and everywhere in between. As long as you can make it to practice, we dont discriminate on where your from.

Here at S.P.E.C.T.R.E. we train the same way we play, extreme and without mercy. We have no FPS limits or engaugement restrictions on our Training / Playing fields. There are no restrictions in warfare, therefore there should be no restrictions in MILSIM.

Why should you join S.P.E.C.T.R.E.?

Here are just a few things you get by joining:

A beautiful 73 acre private field, 2300 sq ft CQB Facility.

6-10 hours of FREE game play per day, and we offer 2 days a week at the moment.

Military Training you wont find elsewhere.

Team of people who not only love to have fun, but also aim and train to be the best. You get to be part of something bigger then yourself.

Little to no restrictions / Rules (Next to no FPS restrictions / Stay in bounds / Call your hits... That's pretty much it.)

If you still have doubt, consider the following:

All in all, most people would travel 2 hrs to a sanctioned field to pay upwards of $20 per person to play for a few hours with a bunch of restrictions and rules, we offer longer hours, few to no restrictions, and a team atmosphere you just cant get from a sanctioned field.

And if you would like to come check us out before you consider joining... Your welcome to bring yourself or your group of friends down and we can run team vs team games all day. It gives you a chance to come with no strings attached, and us a chance to prove just how effective our methods are vs the way your group plays.

And if its gas that's the issue, consider carpooling if you have a small group, your whole group can come down and play all day for the price of 1 or 2 admissions to OXCC or Balahak.

We would love to have you, and when all is said and done, for what all you get by coming out (mentioned above), vs what it cost in time and gas money, your make out like a bandit, and actually save over a trip to OXCC or Balahak, without the need for stupid fps restrictions, bio bbs (which we don't require), and referees following you around like you cant be trusted to call your hits. If I were you, the choice would be simple, but im not, so il have to let you make that decision on your own.
